July 6-11, 2026 RBBA Youth Arkansas
We had a great group of young people that held Bible school programs at five schools ministering to over 300 children and their families. They distributed food to many of these families and gave out bottles of vitamins to the children.
Tuesday- Their first program at San Isidro was at more than 11,000 feet in altitude where they started working with children providing a Bible story via puppet show, sang songs with the kids in Spanish, did crafts, took pictures for the kids to take home and played various games with them. They also provided New Testaments with the food for each family to take home.
In the afternoon the adventure continued with a journey to the market to buy food for two families that had special needs. Then they were able to visit the families, deliver the food and other items, and have a chance to meet and pray with them. One family had a 17 year old boy Juan with cerebral palsy and other issues who is unable to walk, so his mother carries him around. The group was able to deliver a wheelchair that an earlier medical group sent to help this family. The other family has a 17 year old girl that was badly injured in a vehicle accident and her mother still limps from that same accident. The girl cannot walk and has trouble with communication as well as other problems. The group was able to deliver needed diapers, food and other household items.
Wednesday- They provided a Bible school program with similar activities at El Since-Las Vizcachas school in the morning, while the afternoon was filled with volleyball, “la bomba,” and a devotion as the youth were able to have some fellowship time with the youth at Monte Sion Baptist Church.
After the evening meal the group attended the Wednesday night prayer meeting at Monte Sion.
Thursday- This morning involved doing another Bible school program at Huacariz de San Antonio with 70+ children. So after hours of crafts, soccer, bubbles, fingernail painting, puppets, lessons about Jesus being the Rock on which we should build our lives, songs, and so much more. The group took time to see a few sites of the city of Cajamarca and have ice cream at the Plaza.
Friday- This last day of ministry began with a Bible school program at Huambocancha Alta. Then in the afternoon was the largest program involving more than 100 children at the Monte Sion School. And some of the Monte Sion youth came to help the youth of our group. It is great to see young people work together for the Lord.
These two groups of youth again got together for a campfire fellowship at Villa Milagro to spend some time singing, having smores, and joking around before having to say goodbye.
Saturday- The group flew out of Cajamarca in the morning and was able to see a little of Lima before flying back to the US at night.
May God get all the thanks and glory for how he used this group.
