June 1-7,2024 RBBA Youth Team

The Rocky Bayou Baptist Association (RBBA) of north central Arkansas has an ongoing mission partnership with Peru. Usually that means a team of pastors and laymen hold a Bible Conference teaching a group of pastors and church leaders either in the Cajamarca, Peru area where Villa Milagro is located or in the Amazon Rain Forest where Villa Milagro has planted churches.  

      This year they sent a team of youth and youth leaders for several of the association churches. They traveled to some poor remote villages high in the Andes Mountains near Cajamarca and did VBS type programs at schools Villa Milagro sends bread to.  The youth and their leaders did an amazing job teaching the Gospel message of how we like sheep have gone astray from God the Father and how the Good Shepherd Jesus came to find us.  In addition to that, food was distributed to the heads of all the families represented at the schools. 

      The gospel message of there is neither Jew or Greek, male or female was demonstrated on this trip.  The RBBA youth and the youth from Monte Sion church in Cajamarca met together on several occasions and had a great time together.  It was a wonderful demonstration of how the fellowship we have in Christ unites us as one in Him.
