August 4-10, 2023 Bible Conference &VBS

People from Arkansas and Monte Sion Baptist Church in Cajamarca came together in Christ to minister to and with the people of Antioquia Church in Arahuante, Loreto. This group worked together to have a Bible conference for youth and adults while also having a Vacation Bible School for youngsters. Ministers presented Bible classes while the VBS included Bible teaching, crafts, recreation and plenty of singing. In addition some needed dental services were provided by Dr. Danny Haynes. During this time the kitchen workers cooked mostly outside over open fires to provide meals for the 200+ people involved in all these activities. The local women prepared some typical regional dishes for the volunteers to sample and there was even a visit by a monkey.

God richly blessed and the group was allowed to experience a beautiful baptismal service together as three believers responded with this act of obedience. Please continue to pray for this church and those in the surrounding area. May the Lord continue to move and draw others to Himself and allow many to grow strong in Him.
